Lifeline Awareness

The purpose of Lifeline Awareness is to ensure that eligible low-income families and other eligible individuals are aware of the Lifeline Program and its eligibility criteria, the non-duplication rules, annual recertification requirements and to encourage enrollment in this Program.

Access to local emergency services and community resources is vital to all Wyoming residents. Lifeline helps low-income and eligible consumers connect to the nation’s voice and broadband networks, find jobs, access health care services, connect with family and call for help in an emergency. For some, being connected can be the difference between social connection and complete isolation.

For a qualifying consumer, one Lifeline benefit of $9.25 per month for either phone or broadband service is permitted, per household. To find out how to qualify, go to www.lifelinesupport.org To obtain a copy of the new application, go to https://www.usac.org/_res/documents/li/pdf/nv/LI_Application_UniversalForm.pdf
