Ally Brackett is originally from Seattle, Washington; and moved to Wyoming in 2014 to attend the University of Wyoming. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Mathematics in 2018. Before joining the Public Service Commission Ally worked for the Department of Audit for three years as a bank regulator and later became a branch manager for Blue Federal Credit Union. Ally is married to her college sweetheart Sam, and they have a son named Asher, and another on the way. She enjoys traveling, hiking 14'ers, designing preschool curriculum, and cooking ethnic dishes. Ally and her husband Sam own over 100 board games, and her favorite board game is a legacy game called Charterstone. Ally also loves volunteering, she owns a non-profit. and typically volunteers close to 500 hours a year. Sam and Ally also have two fur babies named Barley (Rescue - Newfoundland/Border Collie) and Kumo (American Eskimo).
