Chairman Bill Russell

Governor Mead appointed Bill Russell to the Public Service Commission on November 1, 2012, and reappointed him to a term beginning March 1, 2017.

Before that, he worked for the Wyoming Attorney General defending the State against tax appeals. Bill also served in the United States Air Force where his many assignments included a tour with NASA as a space shuttle flight instructor and commander of the Air Force space and missile operations school.

He received a Bachelor's Degree from Allentown College in Pennsylvania, a Master's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Law Degree from the University of Wyoming.
